Environmental Policy
Exposure Surveying Ltd was established in 2005.
Company founder, Lee Harper has been undertaking diagnostic investigations into the causes of timber decay and other damp related building defects throughout the U.K and France for the last two decades.
Although based in Devon, we undertake investigations throughout the UK for commercial and residential clients, covering a full range of structures, both modern and historic buildings.
The conservation of historic buildings is a particular area of speciality.
Exposure Surveying Ltd recognise that its business activities have an impact on the environment, therefore we shall ensure compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations. In addition we will continually assess ways to improve our environmental performance by reducing our impact throughout all business activities.
In all our activities, working practices and business relationships, we are committed to protecting, conserving and enhancing all aspects of the environment over which we have control or can influence. As conservation professionals, we are totally committed to protecting, enriching and promoting the importance of conserving the built and natural environment.
In particular we shall continue to select suppliers that least impact the environment and inform them of their requirement to comply with our environmental policy when providing goods and services. We will work with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to improve their environmental performance.
We will ensure our environmental policy is robustly implemented throughout our operations by ensuring all employees understand the environmental impact of their specific job and that of the wider activities of the company.
Provide clients with services and recommendations that are environmentally sustainable.
Continue to run a paperless office and minimise the use of paper when clients request that option.
Plan our logistic operations to minimise our carbon footprint and consider more environmentally efficient options as they become available.
We will actively encourage initiatives that enhance Exposure Surveying Ltd’s environmental performance.
We will continually review and improve the effectiveness of our environmental policy on a quarterly basis.
