Ethical Policy

Exposure Surveying Ltd have a strong ethical policy that is an extension of our personal views and which we believe makes us a better company. The principles which guide Exposure Surveying have been collected since my childhood, redefined through my education and practised in professional relationships and business activities.

We are transparent in every aspect of our business, with no hidden agendas, only representing the best interests of the client, the building and its users.

We are passionate about conserving both the built and natural environment, which are so entwined in the essence of our daily life and why we are actively working towards ISO14001 accreditation.

In order to retain often historic material, we accept that it is sometimes necessary for the targeted use of insecticides and fungicides, however, we vociferously campaign against the incautious use of chemicals in the construction industry.

We promote a holistic approach to resolving building defects. We are passionate about demonstrating how the organisms responsible for decay can be readily controlled by implementing a strategy that focuses on realigning the hostile environment and the specification of appropriate and sympathetic traditional building materials. This scientifically proven and sustainable repair strategy ensures that the use of chemical preservatives and loss of valuable fabric will be kept to an absolute minimum.

We believe our built heritage is one of the nations greatest assets, which should be protected for the enjoyment and eduction of future generations, which is why we are proud to play our little part in its conservation.
