Knowing that dry wood does not decay, we can confidently predict that dry rot can be eradicated by creating an environment that the fungus finds unattractive.

“Environmental controls,” is a term used to describe the methodology and techniques used to transform a damp environment, where fungus can flourish, into a hostile environment where it is eradicated permanently.
